In this incredible time of government mandated social distancing, I am very excited to see a marked increase in creativity! People are coming up with unique ways to connect virtually when they can’t connect face to face in person or with a hug!
We are seeing groups performing concerts from their individual homes, but coordinated to sing or play as one. Artists are giving lessons online for students to participate while at home.
Museums are making virtual tours available while they are closed. Libraries are making books and activities available online.
Facebook has endless opportunities for connections to arts, culture, history and heritage. We have been sharing a variety of these on our ArtsAltoona Facebook page.
