Live Music Returns to Live Streaming…

By December 11, 2020 Area Events, Music

Here is a listing of Pennsylvania live music happenings for the weekend and week of Friday, December 11 through Thursday, December 17.

With Thursday’s announcement of increased restrictions due to COVID-19, indoor public live music performances are prohibited beginning on Saturday (December 12) until at least January 4, 2021. So Friday night will feature a few public live music options before the hiatus goes into effect. After that, online live streaming events will provide some relief for fans of live music for the next few weeks. Check the listing below for live streaming performances, and keep checking back as new events are likely to be added.

If you are attending a public show, be aware that seating and admission may be limited due to restrictions, and masks and social distancing may be required. Please respect others’ personal space if they wish to socially distance from others.

For online performances, if a “virtual tip jar” situation is available during live streams, please consider tipping these performers, and support them during this time when they cannot earn income playing shows at public venues. Websites for these performers are also listed; please consider purchasing their music digitally or via CD, which is another way to SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC!

Please support local live music venues as well during this time; consider ordering takeout food from those venues which offer it, and help keep these local businesses afloat during this difficult period.
