The beginning of a new year means that the Governor’s COVID-19 holiday restrictions have been lifted, so some live music events are taking place, we can go out to a sit down meal again and ArtsAltoona is making plans for this year and beyond.
Annual Board Retreat
Our ArtsAltoona board will be gathering virtually this Saturday morning for a retreat. We hope to get to know each other as individuals a little better, reflect on many aspects of the organization, and develop some priorities for our next year and beyond.
Altoona Area Business Community
We are very excited about hosting the Altoona Area Business Community at the ArtsAltoona Center! Please sign up to join us in person (masked and spatially distanced) or through the online connection. We are looking forward to showing off our facilities and sharing our vision for the future! Here is the meeting announcement that they posted:

ArtsAltoona, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, captures the essence of what makes Blair county an extraordinary and innovative place to live, work, and play. We work with community leaders to serve and inspire a more creative region.
Culture and creativity are built into everything we do, from the way we envision new opportunities and evaluate outcomes to the way we collaborate across programs and cultivate deep partnerships.
ArtsAltoona has a variety of initiatives benefitting the residents of Blair County, from an After-School Arts Program to the redevelopment of the campus formerly known as the Simpson-Temple United Parish buildings into a community arts center, to our county-wide events calendar.
ArtsAltoona believes that Blair County truly is the Heart of Art in Central Pennsylvania!
Please let us know if you would like to join us. Just email us at info@artsaltoona.org and let us know if you want to join in person or virtually.
Wishing You All the Best in 2021!
