Brian Morden Foundation
Do you like cookies? Have you ever wanted to try decorating them? This is your chance to give it a try in the comfort of your own home, but with professional guidance! All this and you’ll be benefiting a great cause – our friends and partners for this event the Brian Morden Foundation.
This is their first ever virtual event – Sweet Art from the Heart, a virtual decorating and awareness event. It is being presented by the Brian Morden Foundation and ArtsAltoona on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 2pm. The event is being sponsored by Rachel Bites and Martin’s; their generosity will allow for all proceeds to help local children – those currently battling cancer – and to further the goals of ArtsAltoona in serving and inspiring a more creative region.
Participants will share an afternoon at home with those they love and decorate six Valentine’s cookies with the help of virtual instruction from Rachel Stoehr of Rachel Bites. In addition to decorating, participants will virtually meet members of and hear information about both organizations. Martin’s, a local leader in supporting the Brian Morden Foundation, is donating the supplies for the cookies. Marketing help has been given by Candance Holliday, ArtsAltoona Board Member; Marketing and Development Chair.
Registrations are being accepted at brianmordenfoundation/sweetart or by calling (814) 931-4635.
For additional information, please contact Dawn Morden, president of the Brian Morden Foundation at dbjmorden@brianmordenfoundation.org or (814) 946-9369.
