Sweet Art from the Heart – Brian Morden Foundation

Share an afternoon at home with those you love and create sweet art from the heart. This is a virtual decorating and awareness event.

A $40 donation includes:

  • 6 sugar cookies, 4 icing colors, and other supplies needed for decorating
  • Valentine’s card to mail to one of our local children batting cancer
  • Secure link to the live decorating event with some special surprises!

Kits will be available for pickup at Boro Coffee (9am-2pm) or the ArtsAltoona Center (4-6pm) on Thursday, February 11th.

Escape the Red Queen Escape Room – Cove Community Theater – Loysburg

“Escape The Red Queen” Escape room starts this weekend!! When Alice left Wonderland, she left her beloved fathers pocket watch inside of the Queen of Hearts castle. She has asked for your help to get it back. You and your group have 60 minutes to find your way into the castle, retrieve the pocket watch, and escape before the Red Queen declares it’s “OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!”

Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening in February 2021. $20.00 per person. Up to 8 people in a group. If you have a full room, only pay for 7!!

Winter Showcase – The Studio on 5th Dance Company

The Studio on 5th’s Competitive Dance Company will be presenting its 5th Winter Showcase this Saturday, February 6th at 6:30pm at the historic Mishler Theatre. These 39 young ladies (and gentleman) have been working hard preparing close to 50 numbers to perform. Genres danced in their show include Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Pointe, Ballet, Tap, and Acro!
