After-School Arts Program (ASAP)

Making the arts come alive for young people in at-risk neighborhoods is the goal of ArtsAltoona’s After School Arts Program.

Local artists donate their time and talent to create inspirational environments that encourage young people to explore their creativity, discover new interests, and find confidence and self-worth that can lead to brighter futures.

Whether its painting, drawing, sculpture, writing, movement, music – art makes a difference. Art touches lives! Art changes lives!

We are so grateful for our supporters – Tom and Lenora Irwin, Matt and Tiffany Stuckey, the United Way, and Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art.

Together we are making a difference!

ArtsAltoona Center

Thanks to the generosity and community spirit of Simpson-Temple United Parish, Arts Altoona now has a new home. In January, ArtsAltoona took ownership of the church and its education building. This is an exciting next step that will help us realize our vision to create a center for arts, education and music. We envision performances in the Sanctuary, arts programming for young people and adults alike, neighborhood activities, rental opportunities, the list is endless. And we can’t wait to bring it to you. Keep checking back to our website for new programming information
