4th of July Parade — Getting together as a family to celebrate our American freedom by attending a 4th of July parade
Holding Hands for Forty Years — I captured this photo in a State Park of a couple celebrating their 40th Anniversary. He brought her red roses and they held hands across a picnic table. I thought it was a simple gesture, but beautiful to see them holding the same hands for 40 years. I see an understated red, white, and blue in this photo also. The red roses, his blue shirt and her white shirt. This is real love in America.

The Great One — Roberto Clemente played baseball with grace and dignity with the Pittsburgh Pirates for 18 years. He was an inspirational athlete along with being a humanitarian whose life was cut short flying aid to those in need. He was a true American and one to admire and emulate.
The Tracks That Carried a Nation — Through the quiet hills of Blair County, a train presses forward along rails that have carried generations before it. Captured in Altoona, this moment echoes with the sacrifice and dreams of those who built their lives alongside these tracks. As America marks 250 years, the railroad remains more than steel and motion- it is a living thread of connection, resilience, and the enduring spirit that continues to move a nation forward.
The Past is Present — Colonial Williamsburg, VA is where in today's world we can study our country's past so we can know where we're headed in the future. Colonial Williamsburg is a perfect example where people of all ages can learn about our early history through activities, costumed interpreters, and special events.

Refraction of the Dream — Throughout its history, America has been an industrial powerhouse. As demand grows, industrialization increasingly encroaches on the American dream. The barbed fence on the left side of the frame, representing both physical and societal barriers, marks the relentless expansion of warehouses, distribution centers, and factories into spaces once considered sacred to the American dream. That dream is then depicted by the house in the puddle, free from the surrounding moss, flaking paint, and a dying landscape. It represents hope, safety, and shelter amidst uncertain times.
Abe — Abandoned President Park with the heads of past presidents still survives just like our Country even in the darkest days we find a way to survive. Using homemade fireworks I created the flames behind Abe's Head
A Grand Sunset — This sunset photo was taken at Grand Canyon National Park. The National Park system is one of America's greatest treasures
Riding off into the sunset — Freedom and the enduring American frontier spirit. It symbolizes the journey through 250 years of history of independence, westward expansion, and the quiet reflection on the nation's rugged roots.
The Observer — A quiet moment in the open landscape, just taking it all in. It reflects a quieter kind of freedom — the ability to pause, observe, and simply be present.
The Day is Done — As we celebrate 250 years, the Capitol in Washington DC reflects the culture, landscape, traditions, and everyday experiences that make America meaningful by depicting the waving US flag, the steps many have climbed to capture memories and the airplane in the distance showing society traveling from one point to another making more memories.
In God we Trust — This photo was taken at my parents house in rural PA - to me it represents "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness."
She was Finally Free — She slipped out of the coop and made her way to the water, where she could finally just be free and at peace.
