Meet the Altoona Renaissance Team/ArtsAltoona Board of Directors

  • Donna Gority, President

    President of the Altoona Renaissance Team, and former Blair County Commissioner, Donna’s primary role in the arts is audience, champion, promoter and advocate. She is committed to ArtsAltoona being a countywide venture and the Altoona/BlairCounty area becoming a destination haven for the arts.

  • Kathy Muller, Vice President

    Kathrine is a retired early childhood teacher, consultant and columnist. She holds degrees from West Virginia University and St. Francis University. She has always been interested in visual, literary, and performing arts. She was a board member and performer with the Allegheny Ballet Company and has written and produced two plays. She is the mother of two adult sons, one of whom is an artist. She is the grandmother of four granddaughters, who enjoy music, art and drama.

  • Pam Snyder-Etters, Secretary

    A muralist at heart and Secretary of the Altoona Renaissance Team, Pam also carries the titles of Art Executive, artist, arts advocate, collegiate soccer coach and mommy. A true lover of the arts, Pam enjoys traveling internationally with her Murals Talks Program.

  • Tiffany Stuckey, Board Member

    Wife to amazing husband Matt, mom to two incredible sons and a former teacher with a heart for Blair County, Tiffany also serves as host for ArtsAltoona Talks. She loves to meet new people, hang with family and friends and stay active. Tiffany brings great energy and insight to the Board.

  • Aubrey Farabaugh, Board Member

    The arts are wonderful to experience in any capacity. We have many extraordinary arts-related events, organizations, and businesses in Blair County that deserve all the recognition, along with our ever-expanding small business growth. In my involvement with ArtsAltoona, I intend to continue to illuminate the arts in Blair County for all.

  • Mike Holzer, Board Member

    Mike has been a lover of the arts his entire life. Mike serves as the technical advisor to ArtsAltoona as well as keeping the websites up & running. Mike is also the chief ukulele evangelist of the Allegheny Ukulele Kollective.

  • Harriet Gaston, Board Member

    Harriett Gaston is employed at Penn State Altoona as a Division of Undergraduate Studies Adviser. In addition to being a Board of Director with ArtsAltoona, Harriett is involved with Blair County historical organizations and Penn State and Penn State Altoona’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging committees. Harriett has research and documented Blair County’s African American history since 1999.

    My name is Patty Meintel and I’m retired from the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center with 25 years of service. I’m a native of Altoona, PA and a graduate of Altoona High School.

    My interest in ArtsAltoona is in providing children with activities and a safe place to go. By doing so, these children may be inspired to learn a craft or hobby.

    My hobbies include pickleball, quilting, reading and golf.

  • Dante DiAndrea, Board Member

    Danté DiAndrea is currently Site Director at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining SAMA in January 2022, Dante DiAndrea was a freelance film sound recordist and editor working in Brooklyn, New York. He received a Bachelors of Science in Cinema and Photography with a minor in Audio Production from Ithaca College. In 2017, DiAndrea was the assistant sound editor on the award winning Vietnam war radio documentary, A Time to Heal. He has written, produced, and directed multiple short films, has published poetry in independent art magazine, Amble Mag, and is the creator of multiple sound art performances and installations.

    Sherry earned her degree in Communication and Theatre Arts from Juniata College, and is involved with various local theatre organizations. Her passion for theatre, music, and art is founded in the belief that ART SAVES LIVES. By coordinating our community arts education efforts, Sherry hopes to provide opportunities for students of all ages to find their medium for creative expression.
