Explore Sacred Spaces: A Guided Religious Art Experience
Come along for an inspiring afternoon as we visit five local places of worship, each offering a unique look at sacred art, from stained glass and sculptures to murals and symbolic design. It’s a chance to explore how faith and creativity come together in powerful ways.
You’ll hear from artists, pastors, and historians who will share stories and insights about spiritual and cultural traditions along the way.
How it works:
We’ll start at 12:30 p.m. and wrap up by 5:30 p.m. You’ll drive yourself between stops, and at each location you’ll be greeted and guided through the space.
Can’t make the whole day? No worries, come for as much or as little as you’re able! We do encourage joining us for the full experience though!
Cost: None
Donations are always welcome to support ArtsAltoona and its mission of connecting people with the arts to strengthen our communities.
