Celebrating Women’s Equality Day and Celebrating Women Songwriters

“Wine, Women, and Song”

In 1973, U.S. Congress named August 26th as “Women’s Equality Day” to commemorate the certification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, which gave women the right to vote. Women’s Equality Day is Monday, Aug. 26, 2024. We plan to honor this special day on Aug. 25!

As we celebrate women songwriters, local vocalists, Kris Tina Reiter and Drea Taylor, will take us “behind the music” with stories that tell a little history of the women and the events that inspired songs of yesterday and today.

ArtsAltoona invites you to join us for this celebration to be held at Woody Lodge Winery, Ashville, PA on Aug. 25. We will have three different seating times.

Your $35.00 ticket includes charcuterie and a flight of sweet/semi sweet wine or a flight of dry wine.

Seating one: 12:30-2 p.m.
Seating two: 2-3:30 p.m.
Seating three: 3:30-5 p.m.
